Instead of throwing out those old sprouting potatoes, cut them up into petal shapes to make an adorable flower craft! This is a very easy art project for kids to make and would be fun to make for Spring or even a Mother's Day card!
You will need potatoes, paint, buttons, a piece of paper, and a paintbrush.
Start by cutting a whole potato in half then cut a flower petal shape out of it (adults needed).
Have the kids dip it in paint and press it on the paper. Tell them to make 5 stamps to create a flower shape.
Stick a button in the middle of each flower and paint a squiggly line for the stems! How cute!
