Easy Bubble Meatball Biscuits Recipe {Grands Biscuits}

meatball bubble biscuits pillsbury recipe
I’m always looking for quick, easy recipes that use Pillsbury Grands flaky biscuits! There are not that many out there so I thought I would share. I adapted this recipe from Food.com because some parts I changed. These are great for kids, adults, or an appetizer for a party. The first recipe called for string cheese sticks but we tried it and they didn’t turn out well so I’d recommend shredded cheese. The cheese sticks just stayed in one part of the biscuit and it hardly melted!
Ingredients:

Bubble biscuits with pizza sauce
  1. 1 Can of Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layer Biscuits (8 biscuits)
  2. Pizza Sauce for dipping (or marinara)
  3. Meatballs (I had the frozen Armour brand)
  4. Shredded Mozzarella cheese
  5. Melted butter
  6. Grated Parmesan cheese
  7. Garlic powder
  8. Italian seasoning

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
  2. Open up the Pillsbury can and separate the 8 biscuits. Split each one apart making two layers (16 total)
  3. Place one meatball in the middle of each biscuit
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the meatball (about 1-2 tablespoons)
  5. Fold over the edges of the dough and wrap it closed
  6. Spread out the biscuits on a cookie sheet
  7. Brush on some melted butter to the tops
  8. Sprinkle italian seasoning, grated parmesan, and garlic generously over them
  9. Bake it in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown
  10. Heat up some pizza sauce in a bowl for dipping and ENJOY!

I make “Unsloppy Joes”- 2 packages of Pillsbury biscuits, one pound of ground beef or turkey, one can of sloppy joe sauce (I use manwich), cheese.

Brown the meat. Mix in the sloppy joe sauce. Heat until warm.

Flatten the biscuits. Spoon sloppy joe/meat mix onto each one (about 1 rounded Tbsp). Sprinkle cheese, then fold up biscuit. Use a little water on fingers to seal. Bake according to biscuit package directions.
